Here’s an easy seasoning blend that you’ll use over and over again. No need to buy those pre-made packets from the store anymore. Making your own homemade fajita seasoning mix is faster, cheaper, and more convenient when you want a last-minute meal!

This seasoning mix makes extra, so you can store it in your cabinet and pull it out anytime you want. I like a little kick of spice, but you can leave the cayenne pepper out of the equation for a more mild flavor.

Extra points if you find a cute jar to store it in!

Fajita Seasoning Mix

I can think of about 100 million different ways I would use this spice. Seriously, it may be good on just about anything. Casseroles, omelets, baked chicken, seasoned rice… the list goes on. No, really. Fajita seasoning mix goes well with everything. Just about.

I’d even consider using it for Oven Fried Fish Tacos for a quick fix.

Oh yea, and fajitas. Them, too.

The key here is to make extra fajita seasoning mix (which this recipe does), and keep it stored in your cabinet. Try to find a jar that seals tightly, to keep the spices fresh.

Did you know that spices can lose their color, aroma, and flavor over time? Keep them properly stored to avoid this happening too quickly.

Fajita Seasoning Mix

Breaking News from Florida: It’s humid outside. Also, a giant alligator is the newest hazard in this Florida golf course. I think it’s kind of cute. You know, in the I’ll-Eat-Your-Face-If-You-Get-Too-Close kind of way.

Luckily, I have yet to encounter this guy and his wacky antics myself. So far, so good.

But I’m keeping my eyes open…
