Chocolate Covered Pretzel Shot
Chocolate Covered Pretzel Shot pretty much has everything you’d be looking for in a dessert type alcoholic beverage. It’s sweet and salty, with notes of chocolate and a familiar aftertaste. Living up to its name, it tastes just like a chocolate covered pretzel!Â
Dessert shots are fun, but please remember to always drink responsibly!
It’s finally Friday, and you know what that means! We’re going to let our hair down and cut loose. And by that, I mean that I’m getting ready to go spend an awesome night with my girlfriends. And I can’t wait to show them my new discovery, the Chocolate Covered Pretzel Shot! It tastes exactly like a chocolate covered pretzel, which my friends and I find very entertaining. It’s almost like eating dessert!
I found a love for drinks that taste like my favorite desserts a long, long time ago. Way back, when I was a fresh-faced college student of 21.
21, you say? Yes, of course I waited until 21! Didn’t everyone?
Which is when most college kids care slightly less about the actual taste of alcohol, and more about getting tipsy. Well, not me. I wasn’t a food blogger quite yet, but I was a food snob. And being a food snob takes a lot of dedication, even when it comes to what you’re drinking.
And for me, alcohol that tasted like dessert fit right into the delicious category that I was willing to do. One of my favorite drinks to order while we were out, in fact, was called a “chocolate cake” shot. Because – you guessed it – it tasted exactly like chocolate cake! And it was probably fewer calories, too. Not that I cared about that in college.Â
So you can imagine my delight when I found this chocolate covered pretzel shot at a local restaurant around here. I didn’t take the pretzel garnish at the time, but to be honest that’s more about aesthetics than anything else. The shot is good all on its own. But, for the record, I used gluten free pretzels in this photo shoot.
And it made them better. ♡
