Buffalo Turkey Burgers & Greek Yogurt Ranch Dressing are the perfect way to use high protein ground turkey. They’re mixed with buffalo sauce and spices, grilled to perfection, and smothered with an amazing greek yogurt ranch dressing. You’ll never want to eat an average turkey burger again!
Here’s a spicy twist on an old classic, Buffalo Turkey Burgers & Greek Yogurt Ranch Dressing. It has all of the protein you’d expect from a turkey burger, plus it’s super juicy and has a kick of spice. I’ve also smothered it in a creamy greek yogurt ranch dressing, to help balance out the spice and add a really nice herb flavor. Does it really get any better than this?
Just in case you haven’t noticed by now, I’m on a really awesome turkey burger kick. Last week I brought you zucchini turkey burgers, an awesome way to get your vegetables and protein in one juicy little burger. And today, I kicked up the heat for you in these buffalo turkey burgers!
And because ranch pretty much makes the perfect dipping sauce for the traditional buffalo chicken wings, I’m smothering these buffalo turkey burgers in a greek yogurt ranch dressing. But it’s slightly healthier, because I replaced the mayo with greek yogurt, adding some more protein to this dish!
To be completely honest, I prefer turkey, chicken, and fish over other meat. In fact, I haven’t eaten beef in over 4 years. I’ll cook it for Andrew, but I usually make my own turkey dishes on the side. That is, until last night, when I ate my first beef taco! And it was really good. Stay tuned for the recipe later this week.
I grew up in a very meat and potatoes house, too. Except we ate venison mostly, with chicken coming in as a close second. Which is why my family almost fainted when I decided to go vegetarian for about two years. I stopped (obviously), for some personal reasons, but I just never took the plunge back into pork or beef. And that’s one of my goals this year, to start including more things into my diet.
But for now, I have SO MANY awesome ground turkey recipes that I can’t wait to share with you. It’s an awesome source of protein, and just downright delicious.
